We are situated within the residential Bishopthorpe Road area of York, a quiet and safe base with good local amenities for your visit to our beautiful city. Holmlea is centrally placed for: York Minster, The Shambles, The Racecourse, The National Railway Museum and The Jorvik Centre. We offer free, on-street permit parking directly outside Holmlea.
Holmlea has double, family, triple and twin rooms, all with en-suite or private non-shared bathrooms. We also have 2 ground floor rooms. Holmlea accommodates up to 16 guests and offers inexpensive, good quality accommodation starting from £20 per person, with 24-hour access. Free wi-fi is available in all rooms. Holmlea has seven bedrooms that have all been individually and lovingly decorated to a high standard. We have five double and twin en-suite rooms, two double or twin rooms with private bathrooms and one family or triple room. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, TV and WiFi. We also have two ground floor rooms.

Sightseeing in York
The medieval walled city of York is an ideal destination if you are planning a weekend or longer break away. Centuries of history and world class tourist attractions sit side by side with a vibrant shopping centre and thriving nightlife. The city has many wonderful restaurants, cafes and bars serving local produce. As well as horse race meetings through the year the city also hosts many specialist fairs, including the Food & Drink Festival in September and the Saint Nicolas Fair in November. York is also a great base if you are planning to explore further afield, with the Coast, Moors and Dales all within easy reach.

I was only in York for the night... I cared about location and WiFi availability... both were satisfied. If I was in York, I would definitely stay again
