Holmlea Guesthouse offers ideal accommodation within walking distance of York city centre. We are located just 400 yards from York's medieval walls which surround the city centre. We are situated within the Bishopthorpe Road area of York, a quiet and safe base with good local amenities for your visit to our beautiful city. Holmlea is centrally placed for: York Minster, The Shambles, The Racecourse, The National Railway Museum and The Jorvik Centre. We provide free, safe on-street permit parking directly outside Holmlea.

Holmlea has: double, four poster, family, triple and  twin rooms, all with en-suite or private non-shared bathrooms. We also have 2 ground floor rooms with wide access for the partially disabled. Holmlea accommodates up to 16 guests and offers inexpensive, high quality accommodation from only £18-£30 per person, with room and front door keys for 24-hour access. All of our rooms are non-smoking. Free wi-fi is available in all rooms and throughout the guesthouse.
